Hospice Buffalo appoints Romanowski, MS
HOSPICE BUFFALO APPOINTS ROMANOWSKI, MD
Cheektowaga, NY - The Center for Hospice & Palliative Care announces the appointment of Roslyn R. Romanowski, MD, as Attending Physician at Hospice Buffalo. She will be providing home care in Buffalo and the Southtowns, and Inpatient care in the Hospice Inpatient Unit at their Mitchell Campus. Dr. Romanowski joins Hospice Buffalo after a 30-year career in medicine; most recently as Attending Physician, Hematology at UBMD Internal Medicine and the Adult Medical Director at Hemophilia Center of WNY. Previously, she worked at Century Medical Associates in Hematology and Oncology. Dr. Romanowski is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo’s School of Medicine.
She completed post-doctoral training in Internal Medicine at Rhode Island Hospital in Brown University’s Program in Medicine, and Division of Hematology & Oncology fellowship at New England Deaconess Hospital while at Harvard Medical School.
The Center for Hospice & Palliative Care is one of the nation’s largest hospice and palliative (comfort) care program, serving more than 500 patients a day in homes, hospitals, nursing homes, and the Mary & Ralph Wilson, Jr. Hospice Inpatient Unit in Cheektowaga. Hospice Buffalo serves individuals with serious illness and their families and caregivers through a continuum of care spanning the course of illness through bereavement. Hospice Buffalo helps individuals make choices about their care, supports those who are grieving, and educates the professional and lay communities on end-of-life issues.
